Thank God the trip was NOT for a peanut reaction, but it was still pretty scary for me. Hannah fell at school(climbing up the slide, lost footing on step) and broke her arm. Actually broke her ulna and radius.
We spent all day at urgent care(pic above waiting to get x-rayed) and then main Childrens Hospital.
When it was all said and done--Hannah was a proud owner of a bright pink cast.
So I am a bit behind on blogging :)
Last week while grocery shopping, I saw the best thing ever in the frozen novelty section. I never even look in there anymore, but that day I did and my eyes landed on this
I am not sure what even caused me to look at the side, but...
It states that the product is peanut/tree nut free AND that it is made in a peanut/tree nut FREE facility!! Hooray!!
The product also claims to be dairy free and gluten free.
Hannah was SO happy to have a safe trip that we could buy from the grocery!
A huge thank you goes out to PhillySwirl for not only making a product in a peanut/tree nut free facility but posting it clearly on your products!!

I was so excited to find those PhillySwirl items in our grocery store too! Yay for new safe treats :)
Exactly! I hope more and more companies start realizing how loyal food allergy customers are. If they make safe, tasty products they will have customers for life!!!
:)
Poor girl! Hope it heals fast.
Glad you found a yummy safe treat!
Yay! I'm going to look at my grocery store to see if they carry these too! Yum. Another safe product is So Delicious coconut milk ice cream (which I buy at Walmart). I've posted a blog about this recently, if you're interested. :)
