Sweet Summer Treat and a big boo boo

I am so excited to share this treat with my peanut free friends! I wanted to get it up sooner but we had a trip to the ER amidst the week.

Thank God the trip was NOT for a peanut reaction, but it was still pretty scary for me. Hannah fell at school(climbing up the slide, lost footing on step) and broke her arm. Actually broke her ulna and radius.

We spent all day at urgent care(pic above waiting to get x-rayed) and then main Childrens Hospital.

When it was all said and done--Hannah was a proud owner of a bright pink cast.

So I am a bit behind on blogging :)

Last week while grocery shopping, I saw the best thing ever in the frozen novelty section. I never even look in there anymore, but that day I did and my eyes landed on this

I am not sure what even caused me to look at the side, but...

It states that the product is peanut/tree nut free AND that it is made in a peanut/tree nut FREE facility!! Hooray!!

The product also claims to be dairy free and gluten free.

Hannah was SO happy to have a safe trip that we could buy from the grocery!

A huge thank you goes out to PhillySwirl for not only making a product in a peanut/tree nut free facility but posting it clearly on your products!!

Enjoy Life Review--mega chunks

I received a sample of Enjoy Life semi sweet chocolate Mega Chunks a few weeks ago. I debated what recipe they would be best in. The answer? Any of them!!

I actually ate a few right out of the bag as I was pondering what recipe I wanted to try them in first. Let me tell you even out of the bag, they are DELICIOUS!

I had to make myself put the bag down :)

I ended up using a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe as I thought it would highlight the mega chunks the best.

I love chocolate chips and have tried almost every kind on the market (allergen free and not). These chocolate chunks are the BEST I have ever eaten!

They are even better(if that's possible) in these cookies!

And if you need more convincing take a look at these pics of Hannah--she couldn't stop eating them. She said "these are the best cookies I've ever ate!"

We ALL loved them and will be buying them again in the VERY near future.

A huge thank you to Alina at Enjoy Life Foods for giving us this opportunity to try yet another GREAT product!
